"The Chinese traditionally believe that pearls fall to earth when dragons fight in the clouds above during storms, and dragons are often depicted holding a prized pearl in their mouth or claws as a symbol of immortality, magic, and luck. In India the pearl was used for healing and protection, and in feudal Japan pearls were prescribed for healing, longevity, and in love potions. Diana, the Roman goddess of the moon and wild magic, was also the goddess of pearls. During the Middle Ages gallant knights often wore pearls onto the battlefield for protection. And in Hawaii, the pearl was one of the body forms of Hina, goddess of the moon and the ocean, and of Kanaloa, god of the ocean and healing."     Pearl Descriptions
  • $99 pearl pendants are smaller, with simple 14-carat gold loops.
  • $200 two-pearl pendants are smaller, with 18-carat gold loops.
  • $800 pendants are shown above. Single pearls are large, with large loops of white or yellow 18-carat gold. Only three left!
  • "Black" pearls come from the black-lipped oyster of the South Pacific and vary in color from champagne to deep midnight black. The better pearls, like these, also have natural luster and iridescence.
  • As with all our products, satisfaction is guaranteed and payment will be refunded upon return of the pearl in original condition.
